PM DION NGUTE CHECKS STADIUMS READINESS FOR CHAN 2020 AND AFCON 2021

Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute Prime Minister of the republic hit the city of Douala yesterday 5th February 2020 in a thorough stadiums inspection visit, in view of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) to hold from the 4th to the 25th of April 2020 and the African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2021).  At his first stop at the monumental 50 000 sits Japoma stadium, the statesman inspected the world class football structure with amazing eyes.

The next stop of the P M’s convoy accompanied by the Minister of sports and physical education Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, the Minister of housing and town planning Mme Ketcha Courtes and the Governor of the Littoral Region Samuel Ivaha Diboa was at the Bepanda Reunification Stadium that gratified their view with an almost perfectly renewed structure. A complete fresh green play ground on the two football pitches, Bepanada annex which will be used for training and the main field. The now beautiful Bepanda stadium holds a capacity of 30 000 sits and it is ready for the competition in two months.

The P M completed his inspection tour in the 4 000 sits capacity Mappe Leppe stadium based in Akwa. The competition in April is said to be plaid in Limbé, Yaoundé, Douala in the Bépanda and Japoma stadium.   At the look things stadiums wise, the country of Samuel Eto is ready for the upcoming CHAN, though some finishing touches are still to be done.
