CAMEROON: NATIONAL DAY OF MOURNING FOR 17 SOLDIERS KILLED BY BOKO HARAM.

“Flags will float at half-mast throughout the country, as well as at Cameroonian embassies and consular offices abroad” President Paul Biya declared Monday evening. The national mourning day that comes on June 21st  2019 will be to honor the memory of the 17 soldiers that fell in the attack carried out by the Islamic sect Boko Haram in the night of 9th to 10th in Darak Extrem North Cameroon.

  In public places, questions are springing up to ask why is it that in the decree signed by the head of state there is no mention of the four policemen who died in the bomb blast in Ottu, Manyu division Southwest Region on Saturday, 15 June 2019 of which the two incidents happened the same week and the uniform men in the both areas and in both incidents were fighting to defend the integrity of the fatherland.
